Session One | “Why Should Advisors Care About Open Enrollment? | Move Health Open Enrollment Summit”
-
Let’s address the question that’s on your mind: Why should you, an advisor, care about Open Enrollment? Or healthcare planning at all, for that matter?
You’re a financial planning professional. Not a healthcare professional. Not an insurance broker. So why should you care? Because you likely care about the following:
- Protecting your clients’ financial plans from unnecessary risk (hello junk insurance plans and Medicare scams)
- Ensuring your clients’ financial decisions aren’t impacted by a non-fiduciary third party
- Retaining clients and meeting their expectations for comprehensive financial planning
- Being the go-to guide when your client is experiencing Life Events and making critical decisions
Christine Simone, Move Health Head of Partnerships, will share advisor experiences and insights on the value of Open Enrollment as an opportunity to successfully meet the goals stated above, as well as data about client expectations when it comes to healthcare planning.
